In Lamhi, the husband has been arrested on the charge of killing his wife. District Police Spokesperson DSP Ramprasad Timalsina said that Shyam Kumar Kumal of Lamhi Municipality-9 Syale was arrested on the charge of murdering 42-year-old wife Ishwari Kumal.
He informed that on Wednesday morning, when both of them were returning home from Hattikhal after drinking alcohol, Shyam Kumar hit his wife on sensitive parts with a stick, grabbed her hair and killed her on the way.
After the murder, Kumal, who was leaving his wife on the road, was arrested by the police from Lamhi-9 Jalkundi. DSP Timalsina said that Kumal was being investigated by the district court on Wednesday with an extension of seven days.
