Along with this, the Pathibhara Area Development Committee has stated that Rs 44.9 million in offerings have been collected by the end of Jestha of the current fiscal year.
The data shows that the amount of offerings offered by pilgrims has exceeded Rs 10 million in Baisakh alone. They are brought from the foothills to the office in the district headquarters, Phungling, and counted daily. It is customary for the employees to count the offerings during office hours under the supervision of the police and CCTV and deposit them in the bank.
According to the committee, 8,387 pilgrims have visited the temple in the month of Jestha. With this, the committee has stated that the number of people visiting Pathibhara has reached 188,600 by the middle of Jestha.
