Private and residential schools operating across the district will be operational from Sunday.
The Private and Residential Schools Organization (PABSON) Panchthar has issued a public notice stating that it has decided to operate all private schools in the district from Sunday, April 20.
Even though the government has asked not to admit students until April 15 and to start teaching and learning only from April 21, PABSON has issued a circular to open schools ahead of the deadline set by the government, said Naveen Ojha, Chairman of PABSON Panchthar.
Along with the decision to operate schools, PABSON has urged parents to send their children to school with necessary educational materials and textbooks.
Chairman Ojha said that with the operation of schools, regular classes will be conducted across the district and educational activities will gradually return to normal.
