A red deer rescued from the Bhedetar area of Dhankuta seven months ago will be released in the Tinjure Milke Jalajle (TMJ) area after treatment and nurturing.

The Division Forest Office, Dhankuta, rescued the red deer that was found helpless and kept it under protection for seven months, treating and caring for it.

According to the head of the office, Sanjeev Raj Dhakal, the deer is now completely healthy and capable of living in its natural environment, so it is being rehabilitated in the TMJ area.

According to him, the TMJ area has been chosen as a safe and suitable habitat as there is a risk of being attacked by wild animals if it is released in other forest areas. The TMJ area is considered important for wildlife conservation due to its biodiversity and suitable habitat.

The Division Forest Office has stated that it will continue such activities by prioritizing the rescue, treatment and rehabilitation of wild animals.
