A laborer has died after being hit by a stone in Taming, Sabhapokhari Rural Municipality-6, Sankhuwasabha.
Matha Bahadur Tamang, 61, of Kafal Bote, Sabhapokhari-6, Taming, died after being hit by a stone, said Police Inspector Dhan Bahadur Rajbanshi, Information Officer at the District Police Office. The laborer Tamang died during road construction at 12:30 pm on Tuesday. The police have stated that the laborer Tamang died on the spot after being hit by a stone that fell from above while constructing the road.
A police team under the command of Police Inspector Meghraj Aryal had reached the spot immediately after the incident. The body has been brought to the District Hospital, Sankhuwasabha for an autopsy. The police have stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
