The empty truck, driven by 22-year-old driver Yogesh Gautam, a resident of Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-1, Morang, got stuck in the middle due to the landslide. According to the police, the driver is safe and in contact. So far, there has been no damage to the truck.
A police team has been deployed from the Area Police Office, Bhedetar, to the incident site. Police said that efforts are underway to remove the landslide and remove the truck.
The local administration has urged the public not to travel on the road section and to be on high alert as landslides are continuing.
