The initial details of the damage caused by the storm that hit Dhankuta on Monday night have started to be made public. According to the District Police Office, Dhankuta, so far, 12 structures, including government offices, schools and private houses, have been damaged, and the initial figures are that there has been a loss of about Rs 2.5 million.

Mayor Dhuray Raj Rai informed that one person's house in Kafle Tole of Mahalaxmi Municipality-7 was completely damaged. The house of Netra Bahadur Basnet of Pakhribas Municipality-4 was also damaged.
