Although initial reports indicate that houses, shops, and trees have been damaged in other parts of the district due to the storm, full details have not yet been collected. Since the incident occurred at night, the exact details of the damage are yet to be known, said Sharad Kumar Thapa Chhetri, Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Dhankuta.
According to him, work is underway to collect details of the damage from various places. Electricity and internet services have been disrupted in Dhankuta since Monday evening.
