On Sunday afternoon, 56-year-old Laxman Limbu, a local, suddenly fell while sitting on a scaffolding in front of his neighbor Bhimkumari Limbu's house. He died on the spot after falling about 20 feet, according to the police.
As soon as information was received about the incident, a police team under the command of Police Inspector Ram Prasad Khanal was deployed to the spot from the District Police Office, Dhankuta.
The police said that they have completed the incident report and legal procedures and sent the body to the District Hospital, Dhankuta for postmortem.
The District Police Office, Dhankuta said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
