The District Police Office has collectively bid farewell to 1,034 election police deployed for the House of Representatives elections held on Falgun 21. They were temporarily recruited for peace and security management and were sent off with certificates on Thursday.

They were temporarily recruited from Magh 18 to make the security management of the House of Representatives elections effective. The election police played an important role in maintaining peace and security in the polling stations and surrounding areas throughout the election period.

District Police DSP Kumar Prasad Mainali said that the election police had a significant contribution to the peaceful completion of the elections. He mentioned that the election police had made security management effective by performing their duties responsibly. 'The knowledge, skills and training learned here will have a positive impact on personal and social lives,' he said.

Election police Anisha Jayaru said that the training of the security force has helped her learn important skills such as hard work, discipline, diligence and time management. According to her, the experience and skills learned during the training will be useful in daily life and other fields in the future.

DSP Mainali praised all the election police officers who provided honest service throughout the election period and said that their contribution would be appreciated.
