Journalist Dipendra Raj Timsina passed away on Tuesday at the age of 45.
A week ago, he was admitted to the Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment after falling ill due to high blood pressure. From there, he was referred to Kathmandu Medical College for further treatment and died during treatment, according to family sources.
Timsina, a resident of Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-1 in Morang, was active in writing and publishing investigative books on various subjects along with journalism. He has published research works including 'Telephone Diary', 'Nepal Jaycees', 'Bhutan Refugees', 'Timsina Bandhu', 'Pathari Shanishchare Municipality', and 'History'.
Recently, he was engaged in research work on Nepal Bank and banking history. He is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter.
