A house was completely destroyed in a fire that broke out in the ferry market of Arun Rural Municipality-6 in Bhojpur on Sunday afternoon.

Police have stated that the fire broke out at the house of local Hemchandra Acharya and destroyed all the clothes and belongings inside the house.

After receiving information about the incident, a police team deployed from Jarayotar in Bhojpur and Leguwa police station in Dhankuta are trying to control the fire with the help of locals.

ASI Drona Khatri of Leguwa police station informed that special precautions have been taken to prevent the fire from spreading to other houses.

The place where the fire broke out is near the Arun River, which borders Dhankuta and Bhojpur. The cause of the fire has not been revealed. Police have stated that a detailed report of the damage caused by the incident is being collected. There was no human casualty in the incident,  Khatri said.
