Army and Nepal Police teams have been deployed to save houses in the Saptel Bhedabari and Ghumune areas, while an Armed Police Force team has been deployed to prevent the fire from spreading to the Salimbe area from Hiti. Ward Chairman Sunuwar informed that water is being transported and extinguished by two fire engines of the municipality.
If the fire breaks out from here, it will reach Salimbe and many houses will be at risk, so it is necessary to be more active to control it, he said. Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Prasad Gautam said that a joint security team was mobilized as soon as the news of the fire was received. The cause of the fire has not been revealed.
