An academic symposium on the ethnic, cultural diversity, and literary-social coexistence of the Chhathar region has begun at Changlung Cave.

The program is organized by Chhathar Sahitya Samaj, in collaboration with the Social and Cultural Department of Nepal Pragya Pratishthan, and managed by Chhathar Rural Municipality.

The gathering organized at Changlung Cave, a historical and tourist site in Sudap, Tehrathum, is attended by poets, writers, cultural workers, and researchers from various districts from east to west. The participants are present in their respective ethnic and cultural costumes and are expressing their views on cultural identity and coexistence.

The organizer has stated that personalities active in the field of literature and culture, including Nepal Pragya Pratishthan Chancellor Bhupal Rai, are present at the program. The seminar is discussing the issues of language, culture, tradition, preservation of original culture, and transmission of the Chhathar region.

According to Roshan Yatri, Secretary of Chhathar Sahitya Samaj, the gathering will conclude with the issuance of a six-point declaration at the closing ceremony to be held at Marga Pokhari tomorrow.
