The Sankhuwasabha Gold and Silver Merchants Association distributed digital rate boards on Tuesday with the aim of connecting businesses with digital technology.
The digital board has been distributed to 50 gold and silver traders across the district through the association.
Ramesh Rasaili, President of the Gold and Silver Traders Association, Koshi Province, said that the use of digital technology will make the business transparent, trustworthy and modern.
According to District President Janak Poudely, about 500,000 rupees were collected from gold and silver traders for the purchase of the digital board. Khandbari Municipality-1 Ward Office has provided 25 percent subsidy for the purchase of the board, while the remaining amount has been managed by the Sankhuwasabha Gold and Silver Traders Association.
