Six people have been injured in an auto accident on the Pipaldanda inner road section of Charagaun, Dhankuta Municipality-4.
The auto with the number Province 1-02-002 Ha 8669, which was heading towards Thoka from Santang, lost control and fell about 20 meters off the road. The accident injured the auto driver and passengers. The auto drivers Panchalal Rai, 38, Sapana Rai, 27, Laju Rai, 26, Amimsa Rai (Laju Rai's daughter), Lokendra Rai, and Prem Bahadur Rai, 58, all residents of Dhankuta-4.
All the injured were immediately rescued and taken to the District Hospital in Dhankuta for treatment, according to the police. The auto drivers Panchalal Rai and Prem Bahadur Rai have been referred to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Ghopa, Dharan for further examination, according to hospital sources.
