101-year-old Laxman Tamang of Teliya village, Chhatharjorpati rural municipality-4, has passed away.
Tamang, known as the centenarian, was born in Teliya, Dhankuta in 1981 BS. Tamang was also the chairman of the former Teliya VDC Ward No. 1 from 2039 to 2043 BS. He used to talk about his experience of voting in more than 15 elections. Tamang's wife, who was the guardian of 6 children, passed away a few years ago, local Yogendra Prasad Ghimire informed.
