The accident occurred near Nundaki, Chainpur-1, when a jeep (PR 1-001 CH 8247) heading towards Thuthire from Chainpur met with a traffic accident, informed Kumar Prasad Mainali, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office. The identity of the deceased has not been revealed.
Two people have died and three others have been injured in a jeep accident in Nundaki, Chainpur Municipality-1, Sankhuwasabha.

Immediately after the accident, a team including Deputy Superintendent of Police of Armed Police Force No. 4 Gulma Chainpur, Baburam Poudel, and Police Inspector of Area Police Office Chainpur, Parshuram Rai, reached the spot. All the injured have been rescued and taken to the Primary Health Center Chainpur, according to the police.
