Balen is going to Dhungesanghu, the birthplace of Madan Bhandari.

Balendra Shah (Balen), a senior leader of the National Independent Party and candidate for Jhapa-5, who is coming to Taplejung to visit Pathibhara, is going to visit Dhungesanghu, the birthplace of Madan Bhandari.

Rastriya Swayamsevak Sanghu President Birendra Shrestha said that he is going to Dhungesanghu. 'There is talk of going today or tomorrow,' he said.

Balen is in Panchthar today. He arrived in Phidim after registering his candidacy in Jhapa. Panchthar President Prakash Gurung said that he is scheduled to meet leaders and cadres of Ilam Phidim and Taplejung on his way to visit the Pathibhara Devi temple in Taplejung. Balen has met leaders and cadres of Panchthar and well-wishers in Phidim, the district headquarters.

Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office, Bed Prasad Gautam, informed that preparations are being made to go to Dhungesanghu on Thursday.

Rastriya Swayamsevak Sanghu workers are scheduled to welcome Balen at the Phungling entrance helipad. From there, preparations are underway to circumambulate the district headquarters, Phungling, and hold internal discussions at the party office of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha.

The birthplace of UML leader Madan Bhandari is in Maiwakhola Rural Municipality-1, Dhungesanghu. Bhandari's house is being renovated here. Since the road is unpaved, it takes at least one and a half hours to reach there from the district headquarters, Phungling.
