The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has decided to nominate Dharmaraj Poudel as a candidate for the House of Representatives from Dhankuta.
The party decided to field Poudel as a candidate in the House of Representatives elections on Monday.
Poudel was the chairman of the Dhankuta District Development Committee from 2049 to 2054. After that, Poudel, who held various responsibilities in UML Dhankuta, became a central member and Dhankuta in-charge of the Madhav Nepal-led CPN-Unified Socialist Party in the party split of 2078.
