The Nepal Army has installed a statue of Prithvi Narayan Shah at the entrance of the 2nd Brigade Headquarters in Hile, Dhankuta.

A full-length statue of Prithvi Narayan Shah was unveiled on Sunday on the occasion of Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day.

The statue was unveiled by Lieutenant General Gaurav Kumar KC, Commander of the Army's Eastern Division Headquarters. The statue was built to honor the contribution of the nation-builder Prithvi Narayan Shah and to strengthen national unity, according to the 2nd Battalion of the Nepal Army in Hile.
