A suspicious object has been found in front of the Kankai Mai Bridge in Kankai Municipality-4.
The suspicious object was found on the east side of the East-West Highway on Saturday morning, with a pressure cooker in a black bag and wires pulled out of it. Jhapa Police Information Officer Khagendra Khadka said that a police team had reached the spot a while ago.
He informed that the disposal team of the Army's Aridman Battalion in Charaali has been informed to make the suspicious object inoperative. The police have sealed the place where the said object was found.
