The Dhankuta branch of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has provided educational materials to children at the Child Rehabilitation Center run by the Madan-Ashrit Pratishthan at Shree Panchami Park. The educational materials were distributed to the children on the occasion of the 33rd foundation day of the Dhankuta district branch.

Founder of the Federation of Nepal Journalists Sanjay Santoshi Rai, former presidents Vijay Santoshi Rai, Nagendra Rai, Rajeshwor Shrestha, President of Madan-Aashrit Pratishthan Gopal Guragain and others provided educational materials.

The center established in 2064 BS for the protection of conflict-affected children currently has 13 orphaned children under its care. The center is running with the support of the local level, Koshi Province government and donors. The Federation of Nepal Journalists Dhankuta was established in 2049 BS on the initiative of journalists Sanjay Santoshi Rai, Gopal Prasad Adhikari, Tanka Bahadur Rai, Bishnuman Shrestha, Vijay Santoshi Rai and others.
