Police have said that a man's body was found in a decomposed state in the Kalsingh forest of Sahidbhumi Rural Municipality-1, Karkale.
The identity of the body found on Saturday night has not been revealed. Considering the nature and condition of the body, the police have estimated that it may be a 50/55-year-old man of Terai origin.
A team including an officer from the District Police sent the body to Dhankuta Hospital for postmortem after preliminary investigation, said Dhankuta Police Information Officer Kishore Tamang.
