Police have arrested six people with banned drugs from various places in Morang and Dhankuta districts.
A police team deployed from the District Police Office, Morang, has seized 6,000 pieces of the banned drug Tramadol from the premises of Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-4 on Friday.
Similarly, a police team deployed from the Ward Police Office, Biratnagar, has arrested Dinesh Rai of Biratnagar-12 with 7 pieces of the banned drug Espasmo and 2 pieces of Nitrogen tablets while conducting a check in the Biratnagar-2 area.
Meanwhile, a team deployed from the District Police Office, Dhankuta, has arrested Vijay Mallik and Rabin Mallik of Dhankuta Municipality-7, Prakash Rokka of Dhankuta-6, and Atip Limbu of Mechinagar-9, Jhapa, with 153 pieces of the banned drug Tramol and 163 pieces of Spaspen.
Similarly, 80 pieces of Tramol and 104 pieces of Spaspen were seized from local Arbin Bhattarai of Chhatharjorpati Rural Municipality-3, according to the police.
Police have informed that further investigation is underway against all those arrested with banned drugs.
