Dhankuta's Sahidbhumi Rural Municipality has started distributing warm clothes to students studying at the basic level of community schools.
The rural municipality has started distributing sweaters and caps to help students study comfortably during the winter season.
The rural municipality has stated that it is distributing warm clothes to about 1,243 students of 39 community schools under Sahidbhumi Rural Municipality. Rural municipality chair Manoj Rai informed that the children are being distributed hats and sweaters at the schools.
Chairman Rai informed that the rural municipality has allocated one million rupees for the distribution of sweaters and caps. According to him, this program has been implemented with attention to the regular attendance and health safety of students due to the winter. Chairman Rai said that if the allocated budget is sufficient, grades 6 and 7 will also be included in this program.
