Transport services have been disrupted due to a landslide on the Mechi Highway in the Bhandi Khola area of ​​Yangwarak Rural Municipality-1, Pathibhara.

Police Chief and Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Prasad Gautam informed that a 10-meter stretch of the road was blocked due to damage to the culvert above the highway in the area this morning, covering it.

A police team from Police Post Mewakha, Taplejung has been deployed to the incident site. Gautam said that the police team is taking initiatives to open the road in coordination with the Road Division Office and the local level.
