The Nepal Army is going to conduct a race and trek from Bijaypurgadhi to Sangurigadhi in Sunsari on the occasion of the 304th Earth Anniversary and National Unity Day.

With the aim of preserving and promoting the historical and cultural heritage of Dhankuta, the Bhim Dal Battalion in Salleri, Dhankuta, and the Bhagwati Dal Battalion in Sunsari, in coordination with the Eastern Front Headquarters of the Nepal Army, Itahari, will organize a Bijaypurgadhi-Sangurigadhi run and hike program on Poush 12.

The Nepali Army has scheduled a run and hike program from Poush 12 to 13. The Nepali Army has stated that the program is being organized to identify, preserve and promote the historical sites of Bijaypurgadhi, Sangurigadhi and Pakhribas, as well as to spread the message of national unity and patriotism.

Ganesh Thapa, the Bhim Dal Battalion in Salleri, Dhankuta, said that the run and hike program is being organized as in the past to explain the importance and historicity of the historical fort.
