On Tuesday morning, a truck carrying rice and chaff from Dharan in Sunsari, bearing the number Na 7 Kha 1161, overturned at Zero Point in Dhankuta 7. According to the police, the accident occurred when the steering of the moving truck locked. The truck fell about 10 meters off the road.
The truck driver, 28-year-old Indra Magar, and his co-driver sustained minor injuries in the accident, informed Dhankuta Traffic Police Chief Manoj Khadga.
