Farmers who produce quality and more milk in Dhankuta have been awarded with cash prizes. The Chanchaladevi Multipurpose Dairy Cooperative Society, operating in Hilla, awarded Indra Bahadur Budhathoki, Chandra Bahadar Karki and Pradeep Tamang on the occasion of its 31st general meeting.
In the last fiscal year 2081/082, Budhathoki produced 9,926 liters of milk, Karki 9,600 liters, and Tamang 8,831 liters. Milk producers Karna Kumari Poudel, Khadga Darlami, and Sanu Ghising were also honored.
Dhankuta Municipality Mayor Chintan Tamang, Deputy Mayor Bhima Devi Khanal, and Cooperative Chairman Nagendra Pandey honored farmers who produced more milk in quantity and quality with cash and certificates.
In the fiscal year 2081/082, the organization sold milk worth 33.633 million rupees, informed the organization's manager Bhim Bahadur Malla.
