A child has died after being electrocuted in Dhankuta. Badal Tamang, 14, son of local Lok Bahadur Tamang, died while cutting grass in the forest at Chautara, Pakhribas Municipality-5.
Tamang was electrocuted by an electric support wire and died on the spot, said Dhankuta Police Information Officer Kishor Tamang.
After preliminary investigation, the body has been sent to Dhankuta Hospital for postmortem, said Information Officer Tamang.
