Free tests and medicines have been distributed to 1,500 people at a health camp in Mahalaxmi Municipality, Dhankuta.
The health camp conducted in Jitpur Bazaar included orthopedics, physiotherapy, gynecology and obstetrics, surgery, skin diseases, eye, general medicine, respiratory diseases, internal medicine, mental health and pediatric services.
Similarly, nose, ear, throat, pharmacy, video X-ray, laboratory, E.C.G. (heart test), lung test and dental related services were provided. Local Khagendra Nepal said that the poor, disabled and senior citizens received services from the camp conducted in rural areas.
Mahalaxmi Nagar Mayor Dhruvraj Raya said that the health camp provided special support to those who were financially weak and could not go to the hospital. The camp was held for 2 days in collaboration with the Civil Hospital in Kathmandu and Mahalaxmi Municipality.
