One person died when two motorcycles collided with each other on Tuesday afternoon on the inner road section at Thulungdanda, Chaudandigadhi Municipality-4, Udayapur.
Bhaktaram Rai, 58, of Thulungdanda, Chaudandigadhi Municipality-4, died when a motorcycle (Ba 92 Pa 0897) heading towards Barkhedada from Basaha collided with a motorcycle (Pr 1-05-002 Pa 0589) coming from the opposite direction. Rai, who suffered serious injuries in various parts of his body, was immediately taken to the Municipal Hospital in Beltar for treatment and was declared dead by the doctors, said DSP Kedarman Dong, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Udayapur.
Police have taken the driver of the motorcycle (Ba 92 Pa 0897) Yaman Magar, 26, of Chaudandigadhi Municipality-4, Basaha, into custody and started an investigation into the incident.
