Marijuana plantations planted in various places in Chaubise and Sahidbhumi rural municipalities of Dhankuta and Hatuwagadhi and Aamchowk rural municipalities of Bhojpur were uprooted.
Police have uprooted marijuana plants in various places in Dhankuta and Bhojpur. Police deployed from the Area Police Offices of Chhintang and Rajarani have uprooted and destroyed 1,950 marijuana plants spread over an area of about 8 ropanis in Chaubise and Sahidbhumi rural municipalities of Dhankuta.
Similarly, a team from Boyang, Hasanpur and the temporary police post in Dummana in Bhojpur destroyed 450 marijuana plants and seedlings spread over 42 ropanis of land in Hatuwagadhi and Amchowk rural municipalities, according to the Koshi Province Police Office in Biratnagar.
