One person has died in a microbus accident in Dhankuta. 14 others have been injured in the accident.

Dhankuta Superintendent of Police Sarat Kumar Thapa Chhetri informed that 82-year-old Sabita Kalakheti of Sabhapokhari-2 in Sankhuwasabha died in the accident. Thapa said that the condition of 2 of the injured is serious.

12 people with minor injuries have been brought to Dhankuta Hospital for treatment. The seriously injured driver Jitendra Budhathoki and another passenger have been sent to Dharan for further treatment.

The microbus (Ba 4 Kha 5502) going from Kathmandu to Khandbari in Sankhuwasabha met with an accident at 6 am in Bhaise, Pakhribas Municipality-5, Dhankuta.
