A person has died while fishing after being electrocuted in Kachanakawal Rural Municipality-2.
Lok Bahadur Gayne, 49, of Kachankawal died of electrocution this afternoon, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office.
According to him, he died after electrocuting himself while fishing in the Amalkhutta River.
The police have said that a team led by a police inspector has been deployed from the District Police Office to carry out the necessary investigation and legal process at the scene.
