Anish Rai, 10, of Chamlingdanda, Arjundhara-11, died today due to a snake bite. He was bitten by a snake while sleeping last night.
Rai was taken to the Nepal Army Snake Bite Treatment Center in Charali that night, but as treatment was not possible there, he was brought to the B&C Hospital in Birtamod for further treatment.
Police Assistant Inspector Domi Sah of the Area Police Office, Anarmani, informed that he died during treatment.
