According to the Chief District Officer of Ilam, Sunita Nepal, some citizens have gone missing due to landslides in various places of Ilam municipality, including Mangebung Manebhanjyang, Deumai of the district. She said that the number of missing persons is not certain. However, locals have said that 15 people have gone missing in these places. The landslide has damaged dozens of houses.
