A young woman has been found dead in Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality. 26-year-old Resmika Pariyar of Ward No. 4 Batase of the municipality was found dead on the night of August 30 in the local Marse forest.

Acting Ward President Subas Pradhan has said that Pariyar working in Ajambari Small Kisan Agricultural Cooperative Society may have been murdered after being raped in the forest while returning home from his office Panchmibazar. According to Pradhan, after he did not return home until late in the evening, Batoner's slippers were found during the search, then while searching, he found a place where he had fallen down and about 100 meters down, he was found around 8 o'clock in the night.

According to Pradhan, the inner clothes of the pariyars were found in the place where they were buried and the outer clothes were found in a worn state. Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Khotang Prakash Budhathoki said that although the police had reached the spot since night, they could not pick up the body from the spot while waiting for the party.
