He said that along with the general increase in imports, the revenue from petroleum products also increased by 11.80 percent i.e. 79.1 million 53 thousand.
In the first month of the current financial year, petroleum products worth 1 billion 50 million 13 lakh 65 thousand have been imported from Kakadvitta.
According to Information Officer of Mechi Customs Office Ishwar Kumar Humagai, compared to the same period of the financial year 2081/82, there has been an increase in the import of petroleum products by 52.2 million i.e. 3.60 percent. He said that along with the general increase in imports, the revenue from petroleum products also increased by 11.80 percent i.e. 79.1 million 53 thousand.
74 crore 83 lakh 32 thousand revenue has been collected from the import of petroleum products. During that period, eight thousand 904 kiloliters of petrol worth 773 million three lakhs were imported, while four thousand 676 kiloliters of diesel worth 4411 crores were imported.
Similarly, one thousand 933 metric tons of LP gas worth 20 million three lakhs, 792 kiloliters of ATF worth 7 million three lakhs and 128 kiloliters of kerosene worth 13 million crores have been imported.
