One person died in a landslide in Ilam. According to the police, 60-year-old Bir Bahadur Rai of the same place was killed in a landslide that occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Manabung, Rong Rural Municipality-4.
Man Bahadur Rai, Information Officer of the District Police Office informed that Rai died after being buried in a landslide in Kholsa while he was walking along the road about 300 meters west of his house at around 12:00 noon.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rai said that it was revealed that Rai is hard of hearing. He informed that a police team has been deployed to the scene for further investigation and legal procedures regarding the
incident.
