Due to incessant rains, the Madhyapahari Lok Marg has been blocked due to landslides. Haleysi Tuwachung Municipality-3 Chasmitar was blocked by a landslide on Monday morning.

According to Inspector Sushant Mishra, Information Officer of the District Police Office, the road was blocked by a landslide about 100 meters above the road at 8:10 in the morning.

After the road was blocked, the means of transport to/from Kathmandu and Terai were stranded. Moreover, Mishra has narrated that even the pilgrims coming to Halesi were stranded. 

The Damli-Dikuwa road has also been blocked by the landslide. Mishra said that it will take 4-5 hours to open Madhyapahari road. "It seems that it will take 4-5 hours to remove the landslide," said Mishra, "They have asked to keep the means of transport coming from there at Jairam, and those going from there have also been stopped."
