A girl was gang-raped in Kepilasgarhi Rural Municipality. A 14-year-old student was raped by her friends while returning home from school.

According to the police, a girl studying in class-8 in a local school was raped by two people studying in class-9 of that school on July 19.

While returning home from school, two people came to the middle of the forest saying 'I want to talk to you', the victim girl's family said that they took her to Odhar and raped her all night. Sushant Mishra, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Khotang, said that after the girl who had gone to school did not come home, her relatives found her at the spot the next day.

Mishra has informed that the relative filed a complaint against him at District Police Office Khotang on 21st July. Police said that both the accused are absconding. After the health examination of the girl, she was handed over to her relatives on Thursday. According to the police, both the people involved in the incident are 15-16 years old.
