District Administration Office Udaipur has locked a medical center which is operating against the norms. After it was found to be operating against the norms during the monitoring, the administration locked the Bee Medical Hall operating in Chaudandigarhi Municipality-4 Basaha.
On Monday, the monitoring team under the leadership of Assistant Chief District Officer Vikram Prasad Pandey has monitored drug shops and medical facilities in Chaudandigadi municipality. The monitoring team has also fined the local Pathibhara Dental Clinic, Shubham Dental Pvt Ltd, Divyans Pharmacy. Assistant Prajia Pandey said that they were fined because they did not have a registration certificate. He said that the Bee Medical Hall was locked because it was operating illegally and against the standards.
The team of Health Office, Food Technology and Quality Control Office, Household and Small Industries Office, Taxpayer Service Office, Gaighat and Chaudandigarhi Municipalities, along with Assistant Project, jointly monitored.
Expired medicines found during monitoring have been confiscated by the team. Pandey said that the district administration led the monitoring after complaints started coming in that there were many medical practices operating in Udaipur.
