Kummayak Rural Municipality Ward No. 1 has appointed 9 watchmen to protect the corn crop from monkeys. The ward has appointed monkey watchers to work for about a month from the time the corn is cut to the time it breaks.

According to him, Heralu will have to guard and protect the corn for about a month. Lavati said that it was agreed to pay them at the rate of 16,000 per person.
This team of nine people has been doing work such as roaming around the crops, patrolling, chasing monkeys, chasing them and so on. The necessary equipment for this has been provided by the ward office.
It is said that Laksa Ward aims to prepare an action plan for the coming days after evaluating the effectiveness of this work which was started for samples in the first phase.
