A fire broke out at the Taplejung Bikers Zone Motorcycle Workshop on the helipad line of the capital, Fungling.
The fire broke out in the garage around 4 pm on Tuesday. The fire was immediately extinguished by the team of Nepali Army in Tokmedanda, the team of the police and the fire brigade of Fungling Municipality.
Locals said that the fire was brought under control within 20/25 minutes after it started, so the damage was not much. Police Inspector and Information Officer Vivek Basnet of the District Police Office informed that the exact details of the damage are being collected.
Locals believe that the fire may have sprung out during the making of the bike and the nearby flammable materials such as petrol and diesel may have ignited and caused the fire.
