Dengue infection has spread in 14 districts of Koshi province, according to Health Directorate Dhankuta.

So far, 913 in Morang, 897 in Jhapa, 377 in Sunsari, 275 in Udaipur, 226 in Bhojpur, 143 in Dhankutta, 121 in Okhaldhunga, 70 in Panchthar, 10 in Khotang, 2 in Taplejung, 5 in Elam, 6 in Solukhumbu and 2 in Tehrathum, she informed.
Uj said that dengue infection has increased 30 times in the world during the last 50 years. He said that a search and destruction program is being carried out by the health office and local level health workers in each district. Khatri, an officer of the
directorate, requested to wear clothes with full sleeves or covering the body completely because if bitten by Aedes aegypti mosquito during the day, dengue infection will occur. 'The only way to prevent dengue is to avoid mosquito bites', she said.
He says that the symptoms of dengue are extreme body pain, reluctance to eat, diarrhea, high fever, joint and muscle pain, eye swelling, headache, body aches, nausea or vomiting. She said that based on these symptoms, doctors will check and treat dengue infected patients through kits.
