The Koshi State Government has established an Infrastructure Development Office under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development. Physical Infrastructure Minister Bhupendra Rai inaugurated the office.

This office has been kept by renting a house on the postal line of the headquarters, Fungling. Until now, the Panchthar office was also looking at Taplejung. 

Taplejung's service users are no longer required to run Panchthaar for programs such as roads, motorable bridges, buildings, etc., which are being conducted under the Provincial Physical Ministry.

Minister Rai said that offices are being established in district districts so that people do not feel inconvenience even after the federal structure. Minister Rai said that the office was established at the beginning of the financial year with the aim of serving the people from the district.

He said that contracts for big projects and contracts for small projects will now be done by the district. Khagen Sin Hangam, Minister of Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives of Koshi Province, MP Nirmala Tawa and others were present in the opening program.
