The statue of Sringa Rishi placed in Sidingwa Dham with personal investment by Man Bahadur Rai, chairman of Sidingwa Rural Municipality of Taplejung, has been vandalized.

On the occasion of the Sidingwadham Tourism Festival, the idol placed on the 14th of June was vandalized and thrown in the forest through a religious ceremony. They have requested the district police office to search for those doing such activities and bring them under the legal ambit. Rai says that when he went on the 22nd, it was vandalized.
