The dead bodies of four people who were mass murdered in Ramprasad Rai rural municipality-2 Dhodlekhani on Saturday night have been brought to the district hospital for post-mortem. Their bodies were brought here for post-mortem after the police prepared a bond at the scene of the incident.

According to the preliminary investigation of the police, 30-year-old Rajendra Rai, resident of Bhojpur Municipality-2, killed his wife Manisha Giri, 16 years old, father-in-law Bel Bahadur Giri, 68, mother-in-law Manju Giri, 45, and brother-in-law Sapan Giri, 9 years old, on Saturday night. Police Inspector Deepak Shrestha of the District Police Office informed that the accused informed the police about the incident after killing them. 

Accused Rai was found with a sharp weapon injury in the stomach.  Police Inspector Shrestha informed that after initial treatment at District Hospital Bhojpur, Rai was sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for further treatment. Manisha and Rajendra got married nine months ago. After the fight, Manisha was living in Mait for some time. 

Bhojpur Municipality-2, Hailochha house Rajendra came to pick up his wife. Police Inspector Shrestha said that the incident is being investigated. Three sons and one daughter of the deceased Giri couple are living in Kathmandu, so the police said that cremation will be done only after they come.
